Thank You for visiting the Al Corbeil Polk State Baseball Camps page! Our Elite Prospect Camp is a major component in helping us meet our recruiting needs. More than 30 percent of our roster is comprised of camp participants each year.  We are our looking to add to our roster for the upcoming 2025-2026 season and get a head start on rising sophomores and juniors!  Our prospect camp is vital to meeting our recruiting needs as over 30% of our roster is comprised of players that have attended our camps in the past. Recent former campers signed to Polk State College out of our camp and now moved on include Jordan Barrett (Toronto Blue Jays) JD Osborne (Marlins) Sam Machonis (Tigers) Brandon Gali (University of Miami) Joe Strzelecki (Miami Marlins) Justin Gill (FGCU) Zach Schneider (FAU) Skylar Frey (FSU). Highlights past 14 seasons Polk State has been Nationally ranked in the Top 20 in the Country 10 times and has been one of the winningest Junior College programs in Florida.

The Polk State baseball program has been ranked in the top 20 Nationally in 10 of the past 14 seasons and was state runner up in 2014 and FSCAA State Champions in 2012! The Eagles led the state of Florida in wins in 2011 (43-12) and 2012 (46-12) capturing consecutive conference championships highlighted by a State Championship and birth to Junior College World Series in 2012. In addition, the Polk State Baseball program has had over 90 All-Conference Selections, 5 Fireman of the Year Awards, 6 Defensive Player of the Year Awards, 3 Pitcher of the Year, 2 Conference Player of the year, 30  Academic All-Americans, and 4 Rawlings Gold Glove winners while moving over 100 players onto 4 year programs over the past 14 seasons.  From  2018-2024 MLB organizations have added numerous former Eagle’s RHP  Chavez Fernander (Tigers), Alec Barger (Braves) Jonathan Bermudez (Astros), Joe Strzelecki (Marlins). Jordan Spicer (Rockies), Zach Biermann (Astros), Zach Schneider (Red Sox), Thomas Ireland (Rangers) Dakota Harris (Cardinals) Nelson Taylor (Red Sox) Last year’s 2024 MLB draft saw Aiden Butler (Mariners) 9^th round.
