In the spring of 2011, LINN Energy made a $106,000 donation to the Frank Phillips College Softball program to help in the renovations on the lower softball field in the Johnson Park area that included improving the bleachers and dugouts, and adding a restroom and concession stand building.
Over the past year, the college, LINN Energy, and the City of Borger have worked hard to make LINN Energy Field a facility the community and college can be proud of.
