The College Futures Instructional Camp is designed for the serious eighth grade or high school softball player who would like to bring her play up to the next level and get recruiting exposure. Each camp is staffed by Coach Traub and college coaches from a minimum of 5-6 other different colleges or universities.

Also, Coach Traub personally directs each camp and delivers much of the mental toughness training. Coach Traub is a Special Assistant Coach with the Dallas Charge professional softball club and he has consulted for the softball programs at La Tech, NMSU, McNeese State, Ole Miss, Arizona, UTA, Odessa, and many others.

Typically, we have coaches from seven or more schools and we bring in coaches who are looking to recruit: usually head coaches or recruiting coordinators. We also have a belief that a staff that represents the various levels of college softball is ideal, so we typically have 2-3 DI coaches, a couple JuCo coaches, and a couple from DII, DIII, or NAIA. In addition to the recruiting exposure, we make sure that our staff is involved with the kids at all times. This is not a stand-around-and-wait-for-my-turn camp. We keep the girls busy and coach them all day. Regardless of whether they get recruited from this camp or not, we want this to be a great day of softball and a great day of learning about what it takes to be successful, both on and off the diamond

"Coach Traub, I just wanted to let you know that Dalton signed with Northwood University last month. I figured you would like to know since Dalton came through a few of your camps. I truly believe that his exposure to Northwood at your camps help facilitate him getting signed there. Thanks again!"

"I enjoyed the camp yesterday very much coach and thanks for dropping my helmet by Rudy's too. Hopefully I'll be able to attend more of your camps in the future. The schools/coaches you had there really made it fun and the format was a lot more fun that others I've been to."

"Coaches, thanks for the camp today. It was great. I appreciate the work and drills you all did to help Brandon."

"Thanks for sending the feedback/evaluation regarding Kenneth's participation in your camp. Just wanted to give you some feedback because you are the only one we are aware of that offers this type of feed back to the players. It was meaningful, realistic and encouraging for Kenneth. Coming from a Home School team as we do, you never really know how you compare with public school ball and the feedback helps, and identifies things for him to work on. Thanks again."
