Who is NYC All Star Sports Group?

NYC All Star Sports Group, founded by WFAN Radio Personality Craig Carton, Mets' Hall of Famer John Franco, and Brooklyn Cyclones Assistant GM Gary Perone, is dedicated to promoting the game of Baseball within the five boroughs. Current services offered by NYC All Star Sports Group include:

Community Development:

• Create and sustain affordable instructional clinics
• Facilitate relationships between local organizations and professional teams
• Provide training and consulting services to youth organizations
• Revitalize fields
• Unify communities under the NYC Baseball umbrella
• Work in conjunction with the Major League Baseball RBI Program

Education and Development
To support the PSAL, CHSAA and PSAA High School organizations and programs:

• Provide a Fall Instructional League called the NYC Varsity League (nycvarsityleague.com)
• Connect Student Athletes with Scouts, College Advisors, and Strength & Conditioning programs

Civic Engagement
We assist organizations that work to enhance a community’s quality of life through projects involving:

• Work with political leaders to meet the local youth agenda
• Community beautification through field restorations
• Civil service engagement through partnerships with city agencies
• Cultural diversity in teaching the game to the community
