Head Coach Sarah Wolcott

Sarah Wolcott enters her second year as the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Cedar Crest College.  During her first season as Head Coach, Wolcott saw an offensive increase and put several players into the top 5 of different conference rankings. Wolcott also works with Lehigh Valley United FC, serving as the Assistant Coach for the LVU 00' Girls.

Before coming to Cedar Crest, Wolcott served as the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in Bradford, Pennsylvania from 2010-2013.  Wolcott also served as the Technical Advisor for the Southern Tier Sting Futbol Club in Western New York from 2012-2013. 

Before starting her coaching career, Wolcott played four years of soccer at NCAA Division I St. Bonaventure University. A defender, Wolcott started 70 of the 72 games in which she appeared. In her senior campaign, she was named the St. Bonaventure Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Year, and was selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Adidas Scholar All-East Region team her junior year. Wolcott was an NCAA Academic All-American nominee and was named to the Lowe’s Senior Class Award watch list.

Wolcott played in the Women’s Premier Soccer League in 2010, serving as the co-captain of the Maine Tide.

She holds a National ‘C' Coaching License from the United States Soccer Federation. Wolcott has coached several club teams and worked with many clinics, camps, and individuals in the Northeast.

She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy/Pre-law from St. Bonaventure University in 2010, graduating with Cum Laude honors. She also earned a minor in business and nonviolent studies.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Sport’s Leadership in 2013 from Northeastern University.

Wolcott also serves as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Wellness at Cedar Crest. 


Assistant Coach Gabriella Lopez

Gabriella Lopez joins the Cedar Crest College Athletic Department as the Assistant Soccer Coach.  Lopez's resume includes playing and starting for the Barbados U20 National Team that competed in World Cup qualifiers.  The 2009 National Team Captain in the U20 World Cup Qualifiers and also competed as a National Team player in the 2010 Women's World Cup Qualifier in Trinidad.

In her free time, Lopez was a volunteer coach for The Anderson Monarchs girls soccer team and a colunteer coach for the St. John Sonnets women's team.

In high school Lopez was a Standout multiple sport athlete, was a dominating force in the Barbados High School Championships, attending The St. Michael’s School, a top 3 grammar school in the country. As a defender, led the team to a stellar 10-1 record and to the league finals in 2008.
