Panther High School Prospect Camp and Experience

ITINERARY

Day 1 Saturday October 25

10:00am              Optional Campus Tour

12:30pm             Player Check-in (you will get your team assignment at this time)

1:00pm                Players Stretch/Coach Devolet speaks with the parents in the stands

1:15pm                Instruction “Playing Catch”/Positional Catch Instruction

1:20pm                Position Players Play Catch

1:30pm                Pitcher’s Only – Stretch/Catch/Throw 10-15 pitch Bullpen, 1^st base bullpens (Coach Edwards)

                              Catchers/Infielders – 60 times

                              Outfielders – Defensive Instruction

1:50pm                Catchers/Infielders – Defensive Instruction

                              Outfielders – 60 times (OF then play catch)

2:10pm                Water Break/Bullpens Start

2:20pm                Field Positional Evaluations (Done in 3 Teams)

1. Outfield
2. Middle Infielders/Third Basemen
3. First Basemen
4. Catchers

When Team 1 Eval is complete, go to 3^rd base cage to hit

                              When Team 2 Eval is complete, go to 1^st base cage to hit

                              When Team 3 Eval is complete, they will prepare to play defense for Situational AB’s

3:10pm                Situational AB’s (Live Defense Game)

5:00pm                End of Day 1      

7:00pm                Optional Free Tickets to Chapman Football Game  

Day 2 Sunday October 26

9:00am                Player Check In

9:15am                Players Stretch and Warm up

9:45am                Pre-Game Batting Practice

11:00am              Live Game

2:30pm                End of Camp
