The Mount Olive Instructional Skills Camp is designed for players of ages 6-12. This camp is designed for the serious young baseball player. Instruction will be advanced yet tailored to players of all abilities and skill levels. This camp will cover all the bases and fundamentals for what it takes to be a successful baseball player. Our entire coaching staff will be in attendance, as well as some of our current players. Campers will have the opportunity to ask our current players any questions they may have about the life of a college athlete. This camp offers a great coach to player ratio and will feature all of the following:
  • Hands-on instruction from our coaching staff. Covering hitting, defense, baserunning, and pitching throughout the 3 days.
  • Campers will have a chance to take batting practice on the field, as well as play in multiple games throughout the camp to showcase their skills.
  • Players will be able to use our new state-of-the-art indoor training facility for hitting/pitching sessions throughout the day to get out of the summer heat.
  • You will have a chance to compete in live situations as we will play a game where all pitchers will have a chance to throw against hitters.
  • We will have a Home Run Derby at the end of camp that everyone will participate in.
  • Dinner will be provided on Day 1, Lunch + Dinner will be provided on Day 2, and Lunch will be provided on Day 3 as well.
  • A lengthy evaluation will be provided following the conclusion of the camp, if requested, detailing strengths, weaknesses, and areas to improve for the future.
We look forward to this camp every single year and the chance to continue to pass on the knowledge and fundamentals of the game to the next generation. This camp has been a huge success each summer and we look forward to seeing that continue on into the future! We hope to see you out here this summer and Go Trojans!
