Tampa Girls Basketball Elite Camp #1

Camp Info:

This specialty camp is designed for players entering grades 6-12 who would like more extensive, individual instruction on either post or perimeter play. Our Elite Camp is designed for college-caliber athletes who want to improve their individual skills to ultimately reach the next level.  The camp will involve college level instruction, drill work, and full-court competition.  It is a great opportunity to improve your overall game, hone your current skills, and to showcase yourself to college coaches who are recruiting talented players like yourself to play basketball at the collegiate level.  Tampa Elite Camp will focus on improvement at each position whether it's at point guard small forward, shooting guard, or the post position.

Check-in time: Friday, June 21st at 4:30pm

Camp Check out on Sunday:  Sunday June 23rd at 4pm

Camp runs Friday 5:30-9:30pm, Saturday 10 am-9:30pm, & Sunday 9 am - 4 pm

Camp Highlights:

*Evaluation and instruction from college coaches across the state

*Offensive work including: Ball handling, passing, on-ball screening, off-ball screening, perimeter offensive moves, creating separation, shots and footwork, reading the screen, post offensive moves, stationary & form shooting, shooting off the move, shooting off the dribble

*Defensive work including: Stance, closeouts, help side defense, on-ball defense, defending through screens, denial, post defense, and rebounding

*Class sessions on injury prevention, nutrition, and post game therapy from certified athletic trainers

*Speed and vertical testing data and analysis from our certified strength and conditioning coach

*Recruiting information session

*Campus tour from college coaching staff

*Full court games

*1 on 1, 3 on 3, and skill shooting competitions
