ABOUT US

The Lee Flames are primed for their 2020 season.  The Flames finished runner up in the Gulf Conference Tournament in 2018 and the program has enjoyed high levels of success in its 23 years of existence.

Under the leadership of Mark Brew, the Flames have thrived, winning over seventy percent of their games, with over 30 players being drafted.

The Flames are a NCAA Division II member of the Gulf South Conference.  Prior to joining the NCAA, the Flames reached the NAIA World Series seven years in a row and eight of the last nine as members of the NAIA. During that span, the Flames have finished 2nd, 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 3rd at the World Series, the only team in the country to accomplish such a feat.  The Flames also won 50-plus games in seven consecutive seasons (2007-2013), finishing with the most wins at any level of collegiate baseball in 2008 with 63 wins.

The Flames also continue to develop professional ballplayers. Overall, the Flames have had 68 players drafted or sign professional contracts since 1997, Lee's first season of baseball. Additionally, the Flames have had two players play in the Major Leagues.

The Flames boast one of the best facilities in the Division II with an outstanding playing surface, full 30-foot, LED scoreboard, and television-quality lights. The Flames also have an all-turf practice infield and covered and lighted outdoor cages.  In the spring of 2019 the Flames opened a new state of the art stadium complete with new team locker room, training room, chair back seating for 400, covered stadium, press box, and public restroom and concession areas.
